TOPIK 2027 exam dates: where to check every sitting

The plan opens ten of the fifteen sittings to candidates outside Korea: five paper tests and five internet tests. The first paper test and the first internet test of the year are listed for Korea only, and the three speaking tests are listed for Korea; for the January paper test, topik.go.kr’s schedule page shows an Asia date as well, so candidates in Asia should ask their local test institution. For the speaking test outside Korea, the Ministry plans a second pilot in 2027 and regular sittings abroad from 2028.

Outside Korea, candidates register through their country’s test institution, by that institution’s method and on its dates, as NIIED’s operating rules state. Overseas windows can open well before the Korean one and can fill quickly, so the local institution’s own page is the one to watch. The steps and the fees in Korea are on the registration page, and topik.go.kr’s test-site list names the institution for each country.

The Ministry’s 2027 plan says its dates can change, and NIIED’s operating rules have the next year’s statutory notice published by the end of October; on 31 October 2026 the 2027 notice was not yet on topik.go.kr. A date copied onto another site can go stale without notice, so this page points to the pages NIIED keeps current: the schedule by country and region, the TOPIK IBT schedule and the TOPIK Speaking schedule. Overseas dates come from each country’s institution, not from the Korean schedule.
